Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Engineer
Description:
A commercial and technical advisor with a high level of expertise in areas such as network infrastructure, endpoints, application security, perimeter security, identity management, and public/private cloud environments. This role involves identifying opportunities, educating, and influencing decision-makers regarding GBM’s cybersecurity solutions and services to meet clients’ business needs effectivelyResponsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact with account executives to establish business opportunities.
- Identify and understand clients’ business and technological needs, document them, and propose relevant solutions through a consultative sales approach.
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, and specialists to develop the most suitable proposal for clients, integrating software and services.
- Actively participate in the closing process of assigned sales opportunities.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction with GBM’s services.
- Manage, protect, and expand GBM’s cybersecurity client base.
- Identify business opportunities that contribute to the growth of cybersecurity product and service sales.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity solutions, industry standards, and regulations.
- Comply with GBM’s procedures for opportunity registration and forecasting.
- Ensure that cybersecurity products and services are properly registered, billed, and recognized.
- Lead and integrate necessary resources to achieve assigned objectives.
- Actively contribute to innovation and continuous improvement within the business unit. • Adhere to GBM’s commercial and ethical standards.
- Supervise the preparation of cybersecurity solution and service proposals.
Requirements:
Experience: 5 years of experience in similar positions, specifically in cybersecurity pre-sales of solutions or services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven knowledge in information technologies. Technical Knowledge & Certifications: • Certified or demonstrated knowledge in at least three of the following technologies: • Splunk, IBM Security, Cisco Security, Microsoft Security, F5, Citrix, Fortinet, Checkpoint, Palo Alto Networks, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, McAfee, CyberArk, Imperva, LogRhythm, Thales, TrendMicro, Forescout, or other security solutions.
• Strong pre-sales experience with Cisco Security, Splunk, F5, Fortinet, Checkpoint, or Palo Alto Networks (preferred).
• Security certifications in one or more of the following: CISSP, CEH, CHFI, OSCP, Security+, CySA+, or other recognized security certifications.
