Description:
A senior cybersecurity sales consultant responsible for understanding client business needs and designing tailored cybersecurity solutions that align with their objectives and budgets. This role combines technical expertise with strong business acumen to advise clients, present value propositions, and collaborate with technical and commercial teams to ensure effective solution design and implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Understand client requirements and design cybersecurity solutions that meet their business and budget goals.
- Develop and present the benefits of GBM Cybersecurity products and services to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Conduct technical assessments, analyze client infrastructure, and propose the most suitable cybersecurity design.
- Lead and execute Proof of Concept (POC) engagements, including defining use cases, installing, configuring, and reporting findings.
- Collaborate with network engineers, security engineers, architects, and partners to ensure scalable and secure designs.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and demonstrations for customers and marketing activities.
- Act as a liaison between sales and technical teams to resolve pending issues and coordinate product management or engineering when needed.
- Maintain strong client relationships to expand the use and integration of cybersecurity products and solutions.
Requirements
- Experience:5+ years of full-time professional experience in similar or related positions.
Experience designing, presenting, and implementing cybersecurity and networking solutions for enterprise clients. - Technical Knowledge:
Proven experience in information technology and cybersecurity sales.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with a wide range of IT and security solutions.
Security Operations: SOC, SIEM (IBM QRadar / Azure Sentinel), SOAR, xDR, ticketing systems, RBAC or similar.
Digital Forensics: Host-based and network forensics, Windows internals, packet capture and analysis.
Cloud Security: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OpenStack, and related services.
Network Security: Firewalls, IDS/IPS, HTTP/SSL proxies (e.g., Cisco Secure), endpoint and cloud security technologies. - Certifications
Certifications in at least three of the following:
Cisco Security, Microsoft Security, F5, Citrix, Fortinet, Checkpoint, Palo Alto Networks, AWS, Google, Azure, McAfee, CyberArk, Imperva, LogRhythm, Thales, Trend Micro, Forescout, or other equivalent security solutions.
Desirable Certifications:
AWS Certified Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, GSEC, Or other equivalent cybersecurity certifications - Languages: Full professional proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking); Spanish proficiency is preferred.
