The position is responsible for identifying and understanding the requirements and needs of the assigned clients in their coverage territory. It is the primary point of contact between the client and GBM. The role developing different sales opportunities throughout the sales process. The Account Manager is also responsible for controlling and ensuring all operations related to the account(s) under their responsibility are carried out to provide a complete service.


Functional responsabilities:

Understand the client's strategic needs regarding the business and technology transformation process, which will serve as information to communicate to Digital Factory and AMS teams about the needs, competition, and business opportunity information.

• Follow up on business opportunities being generated and ensure compliance with the established sales quota.

• Size services associated with their practice that respond to client requirements.

• Identification of commercial channels, business opportunities, potential clients, etc.

• Seek to be the advisor to the GBM sales team by understanding the technological needs raised by them, generating timely recommendations. Be an advisor to clients, understanding both their technological and business needs, and making timely recommendations within feasible timelines and terms approved by GBM.

• Participate in demand generation dynamics, disseminate the capabilities of their practice, and establish alliances with partners or providers if required.

• Size solutions associated with their practice that respond to client requirements, using the methodology and quality standards established by GBM.

• Maintain the relationship with the client: elaboration and defense of the proposal (with the support of the applicable areas), negotiation of conditions, and contract closure.

• Meet the commercial and professional ethics practices established by GBM.

• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction for GBM's clients.

• Attend to, protect, and grow GBM's client base.

• Identify business opportunities that contribute to the growth of service sales.

• Experience Focus: 6 years of experience in sales of development and management services of applications, software construction methodologies, or designing and implementing enterprise software solutions. Understanding of business process automation and desktop task automation. Knowledge in agile methodologies for building business applications. Knowledge in DevOps and building code based on best practices. Analysis and capture of business needs from clients. Preparation of commercial proposals. Knowledge to conduct discovery workshops, Design Sprint, Design Thinking, and assessment of application management processes.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
  • Knowledge Focus: Engineering or Computer Science
  • Others: Desirable certifications include ITIL, TOGAF, SCRUM, DEVOPS, PMP, Cloud Architect, or Cloud Advisor. Knowledge in incremental development of business applications, cloud solutions, enterprise integration, APIs, application modernization, cloud migration, and management tools for Digital Factory.
